According to a news item on the New Values weblog, the proposed Spanish carbon emissions trading exchange SENDECO2 will be based in Barcelona, after the Catalan regional government and three companies committed funding to the venture. The new exchange hopes to attract smaller companies to trade, particularly those in the Mediterannean nations. We wish them great success!
