Clean air bad?
Global warming may be getting worse because our air has become cleaner.
It has been suggested that clean air allows more solar energy through the Earth’s atmosphere than polluted air.
This conclusion was presented at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly meeting in Vienna last week, and reported by the BBC yesterday.
If true, it shows how little we know about the operations of the complex adaptive system which is our planet’s ecosystem.
