CBI Task Force on Climate Change
The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) has established a Climate Change Task Force, comprising senior British business leaders, to identify the role which business can play in preventing and mitigating climate change, and to make recommendations for appropriate actions by business. The Director General of the CBI, Richard Lambert, has told the FT that:
“he wanted to ensure that the CBI led the debate on important issues confronting business, rather than simply reacting to it.”
Let’s hope they are sincere, and not just engaged in spin.
