California is set to create a cap-and-trade system for carbon emissions, according to this BBC report. The state would be the first US state to do this.

Inuits’ petition against US government

UK Gas Cap Increase Allowed

The UK Government has won a court case agains the EC which should allow the UK to increase the emissions cap for UK businesses. According to the Financial Times report:
