Last Friday, New Values and Asia Carbon Exchange held their second joint online auction for forward CER contracts arising from Asian CDM projects. Both the numbers of buyers and CER-tonnes traded increased markedly from the first auction held last month. My guess is that these auctions will become a regular event, connecting buyers and sellers across the globe.
