Arnie gets Aussie award
For his incredible work on environmental policies in California, and his promise to cut CO2 emissions - Arnold Schwarzenegger has been awarded one of Australia’s top environmental awards - the Banksia International.

“In a letter of thanks, the Governor praised the Banksia Environmental Foundation, of which the Prime Minister, John Howard, is patron.
“You are all action heroes in this noble endeavour, and you have my deepest gratitude for all your fantastic work,” he wrote.
The chief executive of Greenpeace Australia Pacific, Steve Shallhorn, said he had been a Schwarzenegger sceptic when he was first elected.
But he had “really taken the bull by the horns” when it came to climate change, Mr Shallhorn said, unlike the US President, George Bush, and Mr Howard.”
