The British Government has appointed former Director General of the Confederation of British Industry (the CBI), Adair Turner, as the new tagUK climate change tsar — the chairman of the new statutory Committee on Climate Change. The new body is intended to provide the British Government with expert advice on how the UK can achieve its climate change goals.
