From coal to algae
8th 2008f September, 2008, JonUniversities and electric companies in Missouri, USA are making plans to use CO2 from a high polluting coal power plant to grow algae which can be used to make biodiesel, ethanol and livestock feed, according to this article in Forbes.com. The process will reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions while providing an alternative fuel source.
