TB on climate change

BBC TV’s Newsnight has just interviewed outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair on the subject of climate change, and Britain’s mitigation and management policies. The UK Government this week announced new policies on energy, recycling and local planning.

Yellow cabs turn green

New York City plans to replace its current fleet of 13,000 Yellow Cabs with environmentally-friendly hybrid vehicles, powered by a mix of petrol and electricity.

US EIA: CO2 to rise by 60% by 2030

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has predicted that global carbon dioxide emissions will rise by 60% between 2004 and 2030.
