The UK’s Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) is running a 100 day carbon-cleanup campaign, and 400 companies are participating.  One company, Fulcrum Consulting, is keeping a diary of the experience for the BBC.

The EC has called for unbundling of European energy companies structurally, not only operationally. This would mean the one company could not participate in both the generation of energy and the provision of energy transmission infrastructure. The UK already requires this.

The BBC reports that the Arctic region was once a tropical paradise, with water at temperatures between 18 and 24 degrees celcius.  This was about 55 million years ago.
