Global temperature estimates too low
23rd 2006f May, 2006, PeterThe BBC reports on two new scientific studies which indicate that current estimates of global temperature increases due to climate change are too low, perhaps by as much as 75%. If these revised estimates are accepted, pressure will increase on Governments to reduce carbon emissions faster than currently planned under the Kyoto Agreement.
